Virginia ATH targets summer decision

Boston College was the first school to extend a verbal offer to Brandon Ravenel and they made the Virginia athlete feel wanted early in the recruiting process.
Because of that the Eagles now find themselves in a strong position with the 6-foot, 170-pound athlete from Stafford (Va.) North.

Last fall Ravenel caught 60 passes for 1,087 yards and 16 touchdowns so he has proven he can produce.
Now other schools are finally starting to take notice and the offers are coming in.
"I just picked up offers from James Mason and (Thursday) morning I got one from Temple," Ravenel told EagleAction.com via text message.
Those two schools, plus Boston College, are the schools that have shown the most interest in Ravenel thus far but others are keeping an eye on him.
He told us that BC is still in great shape.
"Since they were the first (school) to offer me we've just been keeping in touch, talking about camps and stuff like that," Ravenel said. "They have some great people up there and they actually care about me as a person outside of football. And it's just a real nice place."
Don't expect a decision in the immediate future but Ravenel wants to get this over with before too long.
"I'm still very undecided but I'm pretty sure I'll have my mind made up by this summer."
