Standout athlete gets BC offer

Cameron Seward has already been offered by Boston College and even though he hasn't seen the campus yet the Atlanta (Ga.) Westminster athlete has heard good reports from people close to him.
The 2014 prospect's parents recently visited Chestnut Hill, toured campus, talked to the coaching staff and even saw a practice. The feedback was good and Seward said he has lots of early interest in the Eagles.

"I can't really talk to them that much but I have e-mailed them a little bit and my parents did get a chance to go up and visit because my sister was competing at the ACC indoor championships," Seward said.
"They got a chance to go up and tour the school. They got to talk to the coaches and watch practice and it seems like a pretty good staff up there.
"They think I would fit in really well. I think I was so quick to get the offer because the coach saw the film and offered me. He must've had a pretty strong opinion about it. They think it's a pretty similar environment to where I'm at now so they think I'd fit in there."
North Carolina, Stanford, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Virginia and others are showing early interest and Seward said he's thrilled with how his recruitment is going so far because of all the attention.
The rising junior plans to attend some camps and combines in the Southeast over the next few months so things could pick up even more for him.
"I'm definitely excited about it," Seward said.
"It came as a surprise. I wasn't expecting any offers until later on if anything. I was definitely happy to see things take off this early. I want to get my name out there even more to get other schools interested and to make a good college choice."
