Running back considers BC visit

It has been relatively slow in recruiting for Godwin Igwebuike which means only a few new programs have been talking with him in recent weeks.
Boston College has been in touch but the Eagles have already offered so the Pickerington (Ohio) Pickerington North running back knows where he stands with them.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound running back said he and teammate Jake Butt, who has picked up a bunch of high-profile offers already, are considering a trip to Boston College for its upcoming junior day.
"I stay in contact with the coaching staff through e-mail," Igwebuike said of Boston College. "I've been talking to them and that's been pretty much it.
"They're trying to get me up to visit. They're trying to get me up to their junior day. I might go up there with my teammate, Jake Butt. We're going to try to get up there. I am definitely considering it."
Cincinnati, Indiana, Illinois and Toledo are the four latest schools to show interest in Igwebuike, who lists early offers from Boston College, Buffalo and Duke. He said other than that new interest the last few weeks have been relatively slow.
"For the most part it's been pretty quiet," Igwebuike said. "Lately the schools that have been talking to me the most are Cincinnati, Indiana, Illinois and Toledo. They've been contacting me and showing more interest.
"As of now I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm hoping to take a couple unofficial visits."
Igwebuike is definitely happy with how his recruitment is going so far especially since he has two offers from ACC programs. Boston College is definitely one of the standouts in his recruitment and Igwebuike said he's pleased with how things are going since he's still in his junior year.
"I am very happy," he said.
"Coming into the season I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. This is my first time in the recruiting process and I'm very happy to get some offers under my belt and I'm getting interest so hopefully I pick up more offers. I'm really happy with how things are going right now."
