Rolin coming to visit BC

Boston College was the first school to offer Matt Rolin and the Ashburn (Va.) Briar Woods linebacker is headed to Chestnut Hill this weekend.
Rolin, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound three-star prospect, has added many offers since - including ones from some other major programs - but he definitely has interest in the Eagles since they've been involved so long.

"I was going to go up there with my dad and they wanted me to come up and visit," Rolin said.
"We talk pretty frequently. I talk to coach (Mike) Siravo a lot just keeping in touch and things like that. I'm looking forward to it. It should be a really good visit."
Rated as the No. 22 outside linebacker in the 2013 class by Rivals.com, Rolin is planning an extensive visit schedule in early April.
The three-star is supposed to visit South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Florida State in the first week or so next month.
Other visits could definitely happen in the spring as the Virginia prospect wants to see a lot of schools before making his decision.
The big trips coming up could help Rolin as he looks at favorites. Coming up to Boston College with Rolin will be Briar Woods' 2014 quarterback Trace McSorley. The Eagles have already started to show interest in him.
"I'm looking forward to it," Rolin said of his upcoming trips. "I hope I can get some offers from them because I don't have all those offers yet."
In total, Rolin lists offers from Baylor, Boston College, Colorado, UConn, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Ole Miss, NC State, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Washington.
