Rivals100 back talks BC

Taquan Mizzell doesn't seem to be in any hurry to make a decision. He knows he has nearly a year before he has to make a decision, and whether he actually waits that long or not there's no pressure for him to shut things down.
In the meantime the Boston College coaches are trying to put out feelers to gauge his interest in the Eagles.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound running back from Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside was recently given four-stars and holds down the No. 87 spot on the Rivals100.
With early offers from UConn, Illinois, NC State, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Virginia Tech, plus BC, Mizzell already has a lot to think about.
Where do the Eagles stand?
"I've talked to one of the coaches from Boston College a few times," Mizzell told EagleAction.com early this week.
"We talk sometimes on Facebook. They gave me an offer a while back. It was maybe last month, right before I got the offer from Illinois.
"He was just telling me about the school and that's what got my attention the most. He was telling me about the education they offer. He said Boston College is very serious about education and he really stressed that part. He was also kind of joking with me about the weather being cold and he asked me if that would be a problem," he recalled.
Well, would the weather cause Mizzell to scratch BC from his list?
"No, it wouldn't," he laughed.
Mizzell said he's going to try his best to visit Boston College but he doesn't have any plans yet.
UVa has a couple of junior days over the next couple of weekends and Mizzell said he will try to attend one of those. He also said he's not leaning to any school.
