Recruiting Capsule: RB

Running back was a big position of need for Boston College this year and the Eagles have addressed that need with commitments from two very different players.
And to top it off, BC might not even be done recruiting running backs yet.

Analysis
After last year it was important to address the running back position in a very significant way. Sources tell EagleAction.com that Boston College feels very good about how they have done that in this class.
In Daniels and Willis the Eagles have two very different, complementary players.
Daniels, who largely remained under the radar until his commitment, is a between the tackles runner and has logged a ton of carries this fall. He will bring a physical dimension to the Eagles' ground attack that they were not able to find in the last class.
Willis is obviously more of an all-purpose player and he won't exclusively be a running back for the Eagles. Convincing him to flip from UCF was, in hindsight, one of the biggest recruiting victories of the year, along with securing Tim Boyle's commitment after Florida offered.
There is still a chance the Eagles could land Coppet. Boston College has been his favorite for a while.
There weren't any high profile misses this year but Boston College didn't pursue many running backs that were perceived to be a stretch, concentrating on the most realistic options.
Grade
B. Could improve if Coppet commits. Daniels may not be an outstanding athlete but he's a strong runner. Willis isn't an every down back but he brings a lot to the table.
