RB sees opportunities at BC

Josh Morris is one of the most physically impressive prospects to call Rhode Island home in recent memory and has the skill set to contribute all over the field on offense.
Because of that Boston College's coaches were happy to host the 5-foot-10, 175-pound running back during the junior day more than a week ago.

"It was good," Morris explained. "I got to see the whole campus and I saw what it's like to be a player at BC. I got to meet with the coaches. I wanted to see what kind of players they're looking at so I could compare myself to them.
"I definitely like it a lot. It's a compact campus and everything is right around you. Most campuses are spread out but at BC everything's right there."
What was Morris most impressed with when it comes to BC?
"It's the whole network BC brings to you with the alumni," he explained. "You can just go back and get a job after you graduate. That's the biggest thing for me. What are my options going to be after school?
"The biggest thing I brought back from the junior day was the future opportunities after football. That's what's most important to me."
Going into the trip Morris was already very interested with the Eagles.
"I'm a Northeast guy and growing up I watched BC. I really liked BC before I that interest definitely grew," he explained.
The trip to BC was Morris' first college visit since his season ended at Providence (R.I.) La Salle Academy.
The previous year he had visited UConn and Rutgers.
Most schools are recruiting Harris as a 'scat back' type that could also line up as a slot receiver. This past fall he rushed for 1,420 yards on 150 carries and 18 touchdowns. Defensively he picked off two passes.
