Pennsylvania linebacker in love with Boston College

Major Jordan was one of last weekend's visitors to Boston College and it wasn't his first stop at the Heights.

This visit was very good in Jordan's eyes. So good, in fact, that he's saying some very flattering things about the BC program and what the school offers.

Jordan has a couple of offers from schools outside Power Five conferences but he's still on the market and waiting to see what other opportunities might arise. Boston College is a school that has had Jordan on their radar for some time, though it's too early to tell how high he might be on the coaching staff's recruiting board.

"Honestly, I love Boston College," Jordan said in the days after his trip to BC. "You can't beat the education you can get there. I absolutely love everything they're about and they have everything you're looking for in a Division I school. It's a high quality school and they also play in the ACC, so they play the top schools in the nation."

When asked how many times he's visited Boston College, Jordan first said a a few times. But he's also been to BC for camp and "a few games," so he knows the lay of the land and is familiar with the school in a way that a lot of BC targets aren't.

While visiting this last weekend Jordan said he wasn't able to speak with the coaches much, but after leaving the Heights he said that he connected with Frank Leonard on Twitter.

"Coach (Frank) Leonard is full of energy and he's a great guy to talk to," he said. "All the other coaches are friendly and caring, too. I really like it up there."

Jordan said he has also visited a couple of Ivy League schools and plans to camp at Boston College, Wake Forest and others.
