Mehdi Out for Year
Steve Addazio announced after practice on Wednesday that defensive tackle Mehdi Abdesmad will miss the remainder of the season with a patellar tendon injury. Through four games Abdesmad had 17 tackles and 2 sacks and was a solid performer in the middle of the BC defense.
Addazio was asked who would fill the void of Mehdi. "The rest of the guys will rotate through. (Dom) Appiah, the freshman (Truman)Gutaphel will be in there, (Connor)Wujciak will be in there. They will all play. We will have to roll through them all," said Addazio.

Addazio was also asked if true freshman Tevin Montgomery would get a crack at replacing Mehdi.
"He could possibly get in there too. He's a developmental guy but who knows," said Addazio.
