Junior RB has BC offer

Godwin Igwebuike has been talking a lot with Boston College assistant coach Ben Sirmans and the Pickerington (Ohio) Pickerington North running back has received an offer from the Eagles.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect said he and his family are definitely excited about the offer - he also has one from Buffalo - and Igwebuike is hoping to take an unofficial visit to Chestnut Hill soon

"I talked to (Sirmans) maybe a week and a half before I got offered," Igwebuike said.
"That was the first time I talked to them. They watched my film and liked what he saw. He went back home and showed the other coaches and they liked what they saw from me.
"I talked to him a couple days ago, too, so I've been talking to them a lot. I'm planning on taking a visit up there. I'm open to anything right now. I've talked to my parents about them so there is interest."
Boston College and Buffalo have offered Igwebuike so far but that list could expand soon because many programs are showing interest.
He said Northwestern, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan and Stanford are some of the teams getting more involved in his recruitment.
Many factors have helped in Igwebuike's recruitment including his teammate Jake Butt, a 2013 defensive end who already has double-digit offers.
"A lot of schools are showing interest," he said. "It's pretty good so far.
"My film had a lot to do with it. I have another big-time recruit as a teammate so that has brought a lot of coaches to my school and that has helped me get a lot of interest out there. My coach has helped me and coaches like what they see so that's helped me, too."
