The 6-foot-4, 190-pound wide receiver runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. As a junior he caught 44 passes for 754 yards and 11 touchdowns at Northwest Catholic High School in Connecticut. He plans on attending Avon (Conn.) Avon Old Farms and Boston College is showing a lot of interest.
"Boston College, Syracuse and Penn State are the three schools that are showing the most interest in me. I'm pretty sure in the end it's going to come down to BC and PSU, assuming they both offer or continue to show a lot of interest in me.
"I'm just really impressed with the academics both schools offer," he said. "Boston College is well known as a Catholic school, and a degree from Penn State means a lot too. I've known a lot of people that have gone to college in the Boston area or are planning on doing it, so that's weighing on my mind."
Jarvis doesn't have any plans to camp or visit either school over the summer, but that may change.
"I'm going to prep school so I can work on my game and start preparing for my college career. I've been recruited pretty hard up to this point, but I feel like if I get stronger and work on perfecting some of the details then I'll really start to see the offers pouring in. Hopefully prep school will do that for me."
