In-state junior comfortable at BC

Junior running back Marcus Odiah of Burlington (Mass.) has quickly become very comfortable at Boston College. After attending the summer camp earlier this year, Odiah has also attended the last two home games.
"Recruiting is going well," said Odiah, who is 6-foot-0 and 185-pounds. "I'm getting to go to some games unofficially and getting some letters."

Expressing the most early interest are Boston College and Connecticut. He has already taken two visits to BC, and will visit UConn for the first time this weekend.
"The BC visits were really good," said Odiah. "Their campus was big and beautiful. The energy in the stadium, from the crowd, was pretty cool too."
Odiah attended the games against Duke and UMass, and was able to further enhance his relationship with the coaching staff.
"I think they have a great coaching staff," said Odiah. "I got to work with them a little more in one of the camps they run. The camp was fun and there were a lot of good players there, but I think I held my own."
This early in the process, Odiah is still taking everything in stride, but he does have an idea of what he may want to major in.
"I'm kinda still undecided on what I want to study, but I'm leaning towards business," said Odiah.
On the field this fall, Odiah is off to a quick start.
"I have seven touchdowns, over a hundred yards in each one of my games so far and my team is 2-1," said Odiah. "My confidence has gone up from last season, and that's making me run the ball harder. My vision has also improved. I feel I can see the field a lot better."
