Haddock happy BC is involved

Tyler Haddock is a 2013 defensive tackle from McKees Rocks (Pa.) Montour who is already receiving lots of attention from schools across the country including Boston College.
Haddock, a 6-foot, 300-pound prospect, said he has assistant coach Ben Sirmans' phone number, can call any time, and receives mail almost every day from the Eagles. It's going well between the two and Haddock said he's definitely interested in visiting Chestnut Hill soon.

"Boston College has been showing a ton of interest," Haddock said. "I've been getting mail from them every week. Basically, I get something once a day. Coach Sirmans, I'm cool with him. He's been up here twice. I have his phone number and I can call him any time. It's a good relationship.
"It's too early to tell because I haven't taken my visit up there. It's definitely a school that could be a good fit for me though."
Haddock has a good grasp on which programs are showing the most interest since he said Georgia Tech talks to him every day - literally every single day - and he's been invited to games by schools from many major conferences.
"I have some great interest already," Haddock said. "The most active has been Georgia Tech. I talk to them literally every day.
"Michigan State was here about two weeks ago. I could've gone to the Wisconsin game but I couldn't make it. TCU has invited me to every game. Boston College invited me to every game. Rutgers invited me to every game.
"A lot of teams invited me to every game and then a lot of schools recruiting me are big-time schools and they're really busy now. Whenever their season is over they're going to come in and check up on me and see how everything is going."
With his junior season still going on, Haddock said he couldn't be happier with how recruiting has gone so far.
"Being a junior and getting all this attention is great," Haddock said. "It's kind of shocking. Four years ago I never thought I'd be getting talked to like this. I'm really happy and really thankful and loving the season right now."
