Four-star QB has BC offer

Late last week BC offered a four-star quarterback and EagleAction.com has learned that he's been to the Heights before.
Jack Coan is the player with the offer and the 6-foot-4, 190-pound pro-style quarterback from Sayville, N.Y., was very happy when he learned he had it.

"I've been there one time for a camp and it was really nice there," Coan told EagleAction.com. "They also have great academics, which is something I am looking for. So I'm very excited to receive an offer from them."
Coan is ranked the No. 12 pro-style in the 2017 class, the No. 201 player on the Rivals250, and the No. 2 overall prospect in the Empire State.
Mid-Atlantic analyst Adam Friedman has been impressed with Coan's work so far this season. BC's offer follows a strong start to Coan's year.
Coan said offensive coordinator Todd Fitch is the coach from the Eagles' staff that's coming after him.
"They like my ability to throw the ball and make smart decisions," he said.
For his part, Coan liked BC when he was at the Heights for that camp.
"It is really nice and not too far away from me," he said.
So far this year Coan has only visited Rutgers. Most of his games are on Saturdays so it's hard to schedule visits.
