Eagles offer two from 2017 class

Boston College offered Jahmin Muse last week and we've got the latest on the New Jersey native.
Upping the athleticism and skill level at the receiver position is an ongoing process for the Eagles and the offer to Muse is an attempt to do that.

Muse is a big body on the outside -- 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, to be exact. Boston College gave Muse his first offer and recently Rutgers became the second school to offer him.
It's worth noting that Muse has a cousin who used to play football at Rutgers. The key words there: "Used to." Although that's given him some added insight into Scarlet Knights football the two wouldn't be on the same team during Muse's college years.
Muse wasn't the only player recently offered by the Eagles. BC also offered defensive lineman Tommy Christ not long ago.
Christ is a 6-foot-5, 255-pound lineman who could also play end, and he hails from Sterling (Va.) Dominion. NC State and Marshall have also recently offered.
Although Christ is rated just a two-star prospect by Rivals.com his multiple ACC offers indicate a different set of evaluation criteria that the Eagles and Wolfpack staff have likely used.
Both Christ and Muse are Class of 2017 recruits.
Christ's junior year film is impressive. Though some places he's even listed as a defensive tackle (not Rivals.com) Christ's film shows a player that's big and even plays as a stand-up edge rusher as an end-linebacker hybrid. He moves extremely well for a player his size and is relentless in getting after the quarterback as he comes off the edge.
