Dudeck on the BC radar

With most senior prospects at least half way done with their season, colleges are beginning to see how much they have progressed since last fall. Athlete David Dudeck of Princeton (N.J.) Hun School recently mailed out his most recent highlight tape to a number of programs, including Boston College, in the hopes of showcasing his many abilities.
"I just started to send out senior film," said Dudeck, who is 6-foot-0 and 195-pounds. "I have offers from the Naval Academy, University of Northern Colorado, Yale and other Ivy's. I'm being recruited by Boston College, Duke, Wake Forest, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Army, William & Mary, JMU, Richmond and Villanova. I'm working hard for more 1A offers."

With all of his games on a Saturday this fall, Dudeck has only been able to attend one game at Navy to this point. He is looking forward to hitting the road once his season concludes.
"I am looking forward to visiting the schools that show me the most interest and believe in me as a player," said Dudeck.
During the summer, Dudeck did have the time to attend the Boston College camp.
"I love everything about the school and the football program," said Dudeck, who gave a little more insight on his camp experience. "I felt that I performed really well. I worked out for both Coach Siravo and Coach McGovern, and then Coach Ryan Day as a receiver."
Two coaches have maintained contact with Dudeck since the summer camp.
"Coach Dawson and Coach Siravo have stayed in touch," said Dudeck. "I think they are both great coaches and they both want to win at BC."
While he has yet to have the opportunity to visit a large number of schools, Dudeck does know what he is looking for in a program.
"First, I want to go somewhere and win football games," said Dudeck. "I will play any position that helps the team win. I just want to get on the field and contribute in any way I can. I want to go somewhere and play where the coaches believe in me as a player. I will give everything I have to that staff. I would also want the school to be solid academically."
Finally, Dudeck gave a quick update on his senior season.
"I'm playing both safety and corner, depending on the team we are playing, and I am playing receiver and quarterback in some sets on offense," said Dudeck. "We are 5-1 right now and we have a big game against Poly Prep this week. I have about 14 touchdowns, both receiving and rushing, a lot of tackles and a few interceptions."
