DB names BC early favorite

Micah Morel has visited Boston College a few times already and that's easy since he's from Brockton, Mass., and the Eagles especially impressed him during his stop for summer camp.
Morel, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback in the 2013 class, said Boston College is definitely one of his early favorites and he hopes to keep in contact with its coaching staff during his junior season.

"I had a really great experience," Morel said. "I really liked the way they ran the camp and the way they directed the kids.
"They really focused on us and showed how much they care about us. They were really hands-on with all the positions. They showed us some really good techniques.
"It's definitely up there as a favorite. It's a great program. Last year was a rebuilding year for them and I think this year they'll be much better. It's a great school and it has really good facilities. I've been up there a couple times already and I love the environment they have there."
What also interests Morel about Boston College is that the Eagles have successfully recruited a number of prospects from Brockton before and that means a lot moving forward in his recruitment.
"It is important to me," Morel said.
"It draws good attention to our school and they look at us more. We have a good number of athletes up here at Brockton. It's great that it's happening."
This summer Morel got out to a lot of camps and combines.
He worked out at Boston College, Connecticut and UMass and was also at the National Underclassmen Combine in Boston and the Five-Star Showdown. Morel said the Boston College staff has told him to keep in contact throughout this season.
