Baker has good talks with BC coaches

Adrian Baker has had some good conversations with Boston College assistant coach Sean Devine and the Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna cornerback is definitely interested in the Eagles.
The 6-foot-1, 168-pound prospect has already been offered by Boston College and he's planning a trip to Chestnut Hill either in the summer or as one of his official visits.

"I've been talking to them and I talk to all my schools once a week," Baker said. "I mainly get it out of the way early in the week so I talk to them either Monday or Tuesday every week. It's been great just trying to get a bond with the coaches and get a feel for the coaches and see what the environment is like there.
"I've been talking to coach Sean Devine about how they'd utilize me, the academics, the environment and different aspects of the program. I'm just trying to get a feel for the program before I make my decision."
The talks have been productive. Baker, who doesn't have any other offers yet, said he's getting a better sense of the Boston College program and he wants to visit to see if it would be a good fit. He's excited so far after talking over things with Devine.
A visit might have to wait until the fall but the South Florida prospect is definitely taking a close look at the Eagles.
"From our conversations, it's a great education and there is probably early playing time there," Baker said. "It's a city where I could lay back and relax. That appeals to me in that sense. I think I could get early playing time there and it's a great education because the standards are so high.
"They wanted me to come as soon as possible but I'll probably take my visit in the summer or if not then I could take an official up there."
Baker is taking his time with recruiting. The Hollywood Chaminade Madonna prospect is also hearing from Miami, Florida State, Florida, West Virginia and Central Florida among others.
