Three-star cornerback Nana Kyeremeh of Worthington (Ohio) Thomas Worthington has been on the BC radar since the spring, when he picked up his offer. Now with the fall upon us, the BC coaching staff is in the process of trying to finalize an official visit with the athletic cornerback.
With seven offers, recruiting has once again picked up for Kyeremeh since September 1st.
"Recruiting is going pretty good," said Kyeremeh, who is 5-foot-11 and 170-pounds. "I've talked to the West Virginia, BC, Northwestern and Akron coaches."
All four of these schools have offered, as well as Vanderbilt, Ball State and Toledo. Kyeremeh also believes that a few more offers may be coming his way.
"I think Indiana, Cincinnati and a few other Big Ten schools are close," said Kyeremeh.
The Ohio cornerback has not taken any recent visits, but did have time during the summer to check out West Virginia, LSU and Cincinnati. Now he is in the process of scheduling his first official visits.
"I'll be going to Northwestern, BC and West Virginia," said Kyeremeh. "Nothing is scheduled yet, but I'll be going to these three. I'm going to save the last two to see what happens."
The Eagles offered Kyeremeh back in the spring and have remained in contact since that point.
"I like the coaches and I like the school," said Kyeremeh. "I have a friend who goes there and he loves it. I know they have great facilities and the campus is nice. I just want to go there and check it out."
While on his official visit, Kyeremeh has a few specific things that he wants to experience.
"I want to see how I fit in," said Kyeremeh. "I want to see how they treat their players and how the education is. I also want to see some classes."
Kyeremeh mentioned that he is looking to major in engineering, but that is still up in the air.
On the field this fall, Thomas Worthington is off to a 1-2 start, but Kyeremeh has been a force in every facet of the game.
"This last game I had 90 yards receiving and an interception," said Kyeremeh. "Before that I had 10 tackles in one game and I blocked two punts, and I had eight or nine tackles in the first game. I think I have more of a feel of the game on the field, and my technique is better this season."
