Another Boston College running back has announced he will be entering the transfer portal.

Shortly after Pat Garwo entered the portal, Cam Barfield made the same announcement.

He'll be looking for another school when December 4 rolls around.

Barfield arrived at BC from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman as a member of the 2022 recruiting class and he played in seven games that first year, logging 53 yards on 25 carries with three catches, although the BC offensive line struggles dominated the conversation about the offense for much of that year.

Barfield logged 14 yards on 11 carries in three games this season. He saw action against Holy Cross, Florida State, and Syracuse for a total of 56 snaps, and PFF gave him a 52.7 score for the season.

QB Thomas Castellanos and RB Kye Robichaux combined to rush for more than 1,600 yards this year, more than two-thirds of the team total.
