Top 2013 QB visits BC

Boston College was one of the first schools to offer Ryan Burns of Ashburn (Va.) Stone Bridge, who is one of the top Class of 2013 quarterbacks in the Mid-Atlantic region. Since receiving the offer, Burns has made it a point to stay in touch with the BC coaching staff. Last week he took it to another level with an unofficial visit to Chestnut Hill.
Burns, 6-foot-4 and 220-pounds, currently holds offers from Boston College, Virginia, Rutgers and Stanford, and visited each of these schools during the summer, along with Florida State, Penn State and North Carolina State.

Each of these visits was for a camp, except for Boston College, which was his most recent visit.
"I was just there last Tuesday to mostly meet with Coach Rogers," said Burns. "The visit was great. I love all of their coaches."
Burns' visit further solidified BC's position as a major player in his recruitment.
"I think BC has great athletic, as well as academic programs," said Burns. "Seeing and hearing where the football team is right now, I expect big things from them this year."
At this time the only upcoming plans that Burns has solidified is to attend the Penn State/Alabama game in September. He is hoping to add a few more visits, including one to Boston College, as his schedule comes together.
EagleAction.com will continue to stay in touch with Burns throughout the fall to see how his junior season progresses and to see when he plans another visit to BC.
