Rounding up the wave of new offers

BC's recent camp sessions have resulted in a big round of new offers.

We've already profiled and interviewed some of the players with new offers from the Eagles. Now let's round up some of the others as we introduces some players who we might not have mentioned before.

Paul Woods is a 6-foot wide receiver from Amherst (N.Y.) Sweet Home, and although he's listed at just 138 pounds on his Rivals.com profile, it's probably safe to say he's gotten bigger given the passage of time and the fact of BC's offer.

Woods' BC offer is his first from a school in the FBS ranks.

Most of the schools that have offered Andre Carter happen to be Mid-American Conference Programs from the Group of Five level.

Boston College isn't his first Power Five offer, however. That honor belonged to Iowa State. Still, the Eagles are in the mix early.

Boston College is far from alone in offering Ovie Oghoufo, another Class of 2018 prospect from Michigan.

Michigan, Notre Dame and Michigan State are just some of the other schools that have offered Oghoufo more recently.

Oghoufo participated in the Rivals Camp Series earlier this year, and that contributed to his improving recruiting stock.
