Robinson getting some NBA Draft love
Boston College Eagles star sophomore guard Jerome Robinson has quickly rose from under the radar prospect out of North Carolina to now getting looks from NBA scouts and recognition as a top player in his class by one of the top NBA Draft evaluation websites, DraftExpress.com.
Robinson is currently averaging 19 points in nearly 34 minutes played per game this season.
The 6-foot-5 guard from Raleigh scored his third career-high in points in just six games last Saturday after he finished with 24 points, including six made 3-pointers in the loss to Richmond at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Last January EagleAction reported hearing the same thing from sources at the same level that Robinson was a "future pro". Robinson is finally starting to catch not only the mainstream NBA Draft fans eye, but also the casual basketball fans.
The Boston College star ranks 33rd in the sophomore class. He comes in just behind other big name college basketball stars, Duke's Luke Kennard (#32), Villanova's Jalen Brunson (#31), and Uconn's Jalen Adams (#30).
Indiana's 6-foot-8 athletic small forward OG Anunoby ranks as the top player in the class. He's followed by long, extremely athletic Ivan Rabb of Cal whose potential is sky high and rounding out the top three in the class NBA Draft rankings is Syracuse's versatile guard/forward, 6-foot-10 Tyler Lydon.
DraftExpress highlights Robinson's versatility and unique skill set. Along with his length, ability to play both the point guard along with shooting guard, and his athletic ability as well as quickness among many other things. You can read the full evaluation on him here from DraftExpress.com.
