Offer Profile: David Adams

About a week ago BC extended an offer to a four-star linebacker from Pennsylvania. We're taking a closer look
David Adams is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect and a four-star prospect at that. He's rated the No. 4 player in the Keystone State, so there's likely to be a tough fight ahead.

BC's far from alone in offering Adams. Louisville, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn STate, Pitt, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin have offered as well.
EagleAction.com touched base with Adams briefly this week and while he does not have any immediate plans to visit Boston College he was grateful for the offer. It's too early to get an accurate read on which direction Adams' recruitment is headed, although he did single out Penn State, Notre Dame, Pitt and several California schools as among those he plans to visit in the near future.
Every year Central Catholic in Pittsburgh produces a good amount of talent, so it's not surprising that BC's coaches would be keeping a close watch on the school.
You can bet that BC's "Linebacker U" identity will be a big part of the Eagles' message to Adams, and he's the kind of middle of the field 'backer with speed, tenacity and fundamentals that BC has loved and thrived with in the past.
