New York OL on the radar

Tommy Hopkins has an offer from UConn but they aren't the only school showing interest. Boston College and others like what they've seen from the New York lineman.
EagleAction.com spoke with the 6-foot-6, 293-pound tackle from Thornwood (N.Y.) Westlake early this week and Hopkins had some nice things to say about the Eagles.

Hopkins has visited Boston College three times already.
He was in Chestnut Hill for a camp last summer and a game last fall.
"I went up there to visit over spring break again," Hopkins said. "I saw my recruiting coach, Al Washington, but I didn't get to meet the new offensive line coach.
"I really like the campus and I like how everything's laid out. Obviously it's a great school academics-wise."
Hopkins said the Eagles have asked him to camp again this summer. When asked where the Eagles rate on his list Hopkins played it close to the vest.
"I like them," he said. "They're not the favorite but they're up there. I really like UConn and Syracuse, those two schools, but I like Boston College, too."
When asked whether he would camp at BC, Hopkins said he doesn't know what camps he will attend. That will depend on what his offer list looks like.
