Harrington updates season, BC status

Scooter Harrington has been committed to Boston College since just after the last Signing Day and he went on the record with EagleAction.com this week to give an update on how things have been going.
"We're two games into our season because we really started late this year," the 6-foot-5, 238-pound senior from Greenwich, Conn., said.
Greenwich is 1-1 after losing to a team that was in last year's state finals.
In those two games Harrington has five receptions for 42 yards. Greenwich hasn't had a lot of success in the vertical passing game and that has limited Harrington's numbers. But they have also opened up with a couple of difficult games.
While the passing game has sometimes struggled Greenwich has been able to rely on a solid running game.
"Coming up we're going to be playing some new teams and we plan on experimenting with some new things," Harrington said, hinting that he might be more involved in the passing game as a receiver in Greenwich's upcoming games.
"Mostly I've been playing a kind of receiver role," Harrington said. "So I've been blocking and running routes. I'm happy with how I've been playing. Defensively I've been playing really well. This year I have two sacks and a batted down pass."
Although BC has played several home games already Harrington hasn't been able to make it to the Heights for any of those. He did say that he will be attending either Boston College's home game against NC State or Wake Forest, though he's not sure which one he will be at yet.
"So I'll make it up to one more game and probably two if that's at all possible," he said. "Then I'll be at my official (visit) in December. That's the time when we do officials at BC. But I've already been getting to know some of the guys in our group chat."
Harrington's absence at games isn't a cause for concern as he reiterated that he's solid with the Eagles. He also said he's been following BC's season closely.
"I thought they've been playing really well, especially defensively," Harrington said. "I think (the defense) is the best in the country. I'm really proud of how the team's played and I'm impressed to know they're really battling with some injuries right now. They pulled out a really good win this weekend against a good Northern Illinois team that gave Ohio State all they could handle."
