Georgia RB has offer from Eagles

Keyante Green is a threat to score every time he touches the football. The fact that he spent more time on defense than offense this year is a testament to his versatility and helps explain the fact that he has more than a dozen verbal offers.
At 5-foot-9 and 190-pounds, Green doesn't look like a middle linebacker, but that's the position he spent most of his time at this fall.

While undersized Green is as strong as they come pound for pound and his speed gave him the ability to cover ground and make plays on the ball that most other guys simply couldn't.
"We did pretty good. We went to the quarterfinals and lost to a team we beat in the regular season," Green told EagleAction.com, referring to McDonough (Ga.) Eagle's Landing Christian's efforts this year.
"I did pretty good myself but it wasn't what I expected. I missed a couple of games because of my groin. I was a little affected by it my first game back but I got better after that."
Green only saw spot duty on offense but he will be a running back in college. TCU became the most recent school to offer him a couple of weeks ago and he had already picked up offers from BC, Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and plenty of other schools before that.
During the season he was able to visit Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Florida State.
"I really liked Tennessee and Virginia Tech," he said. "I liked Georgia and Florida State, too. Really all of them except Georgia Tech.
"Pretty soon I'm going to try to get up to Tennessee but that's all I have planned now."
The Eagles may have their work cut out for them in this one but they've extended the verbal offer and will make their case. Green is willing to listen.
"They've offered me and I talked to them," he noted. "Since then they've been sending me things in the mail. I'm interested. I'll be considering them.
"The biggest thing for me is early playing time and other than that I'll just be looking to see if schools have my major. I want to major in business."
