Zay Flowers is staying in the headlines and in turn, is keeping Boston College in draft news reports.
One of the program's best ambassadors going, with a rapidly growing brand on the national level, has been in Texas today, and Adam Schefter.
The purpose? Working out with Chiefs' superstar quarterback and two-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes, the biggest name in the National Football League.
Boston College WR Zay Flowers - Mel Kiper’s No. 10 overall prospect - is in Texas today to workout with Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes at the request of the team, per source. Flowers believed his pre-draft process was over after visiting the Titans on Tuesday…until the Chiefs called…

As Schefter indicated in his update on social media the request came as a surprise to Flowers, who had not previously planned on working out with Mahomes.
Fresh off another Super Bowl victory, the Chiefs will have the final pick, No. 31 overall, in the upcoming NFL Draft.
The 2023 NFL Draft will be held April 27-29 at Kansas City's Union Station.
Flowers is garnering first round consideration though there's not close to any consensus on when his name will be called or by whom, except that he should be one of the very first wide receivers selected.
A new mock CBS draft posted today has Flowers going to the New York Giants at No. 25 overall. A new mock on NFL.com also has Flowers going to the Giants with that pick, although Bill Barnwell's most recent mock on ESPN.com doesn't have Flowers in the first round.
