Florida RB closing in on offer

Running back Fabian Moreau of Davie (Fla.) Western has been on the Boston College radar since the spring. An offer almost came his way during summer, but now with further increased interest, Moreau may once again be very close to snatching an offer from the Eagles.
"They have been in contact with me and they said that they should be offering soon," said Moreau, who is 6-foot-0 and 180-pounds.

Boston College has been recruiting Moreau since May and visited the Florida running back during the spring.
"Coach Day has been recruiting me," said Moreau. "He came in May and he's a great guy. He's very friendly and easy to talk with."
Moreau discussed his offer situation back in the spring and now how it has arisen once again.
"They wanted me to visit during the summer and offer me in person, but I couldn't afford the trip," said Moreau. "I talked to Coach Day a couple of weeks ago and we are still working on the offer."
With BC close to offering, Moreau shared his thoughts on the school and program.
"It's a really good school," said Moreau. "It's a great education and their football program is pretty strong. I have family in Massachusetts, so that's definitely a plus."
Moreau was actually in Massachusetts less than a year ago.
"I was there for Christmas so I'm used to the cold weather," said Moreau. "My mom's side of the family lives there, her brother and a few cousins. They live in Cambridge and Stoneham."
Moreau holds offers from Kansas State, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Western Michigan, Western Illinois and Bryant. He does not plan to take any visits until his senior season is complete. On the field, Moreau is off to a quick start.
"My senior season is really good," said Moreau. "Our team is looking great and we are 4-0 so far. I have 73 touches for 800 yards and 13 touchdowns."
