Durant plans BC trip next week

Chris Durant has been receiving recruiting mail from Boston College and he's talked with the coaching staff but the Vienna (Va.) Oakton offensive guard said he still doesn't know too much about the program.
The 6-foot-4, 268-pound prospect is highly interested though and that's why Durant is scheduled to visit Chestnut Hill on Tuesday.

Durant, who has an offer from Old Dominion and is hearing from many other programs, said he's anticipating the trip to see the campus and finally meet the BC coaches face-to-face.
"It's going pretty good with them," Durant said. "I've been getting a lot of letters and I've talked to the coaches.
"I really don't know much about them yet. Right now I like Boston College a lot so it will be good to get a feel for the campus and the coaching staff."
Boston College has been in contact for a couple months with Durant, who recently visited NC State and has a bunch of other unofficial trips coming up.
The Vienna Oakton standout said he's planning to visit Duke in two weeks and then sometime this off-season is planning to see Yale and James Madison. The Blue Devils might be an early favorite.
Durant's first offer from Old Dominion came last weekend. He has taken an unofficial visit to check out the school but as he told Rivals.com his goal is to play Division I football.
Duke could be tough to beat if the Blue Devils offer but Durant said he's highly interested in Boston College and cannot wait to see the campus next week.
