Coppet likes BCs style

Fred Coppet is one of the next big-time players at Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas and Boston College is already showing lots of interest in the standout 2013 running back.
"I have lots of interest in that school," Coppet said. "They send lots of letters and they really stay in contact with me so they're showing me how they coach and that they appreciate their players.

"I just love how their offense is run and their coaches are on the players pretty hard so I really like the vibe over there."
Boston College is one of many schools showing interest in Coppet, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound prospect who said Florida State, LSU, Florida, Oregon, USC, Cincinnati, Marshall and others are also involved.
Upcoming visits to Florida State and Florida could be important but Coppet said he'll go anywhere in the country to play.
Distance from home doesn't seem like a major factor and the St. Thomas Aquinas recruit said he's looking for the best opportunity to make an impact on the field. He sees Boston College as one of those possibilities.
"I have four schools that offered already and I know USC is waiting to see a highlight film so I have to get that to them soon," Coppet said. "Marshall is also looking for a highlight film, too.
"I'm open to any school right now."
St. Thomas Aquinas, one of the top teams in the country, finished 10-3 this season with big wins over Prattville, Ala., Concord (Calif.) De La Salle and others.
Coppet split time in the backfield with three-star Illinois commit Dami Ayoola this season and should get even more carries as a senior. That means Boston College and many other schools could get even more involved in his recruitment.
