Coach's take: Keels a defensive bell cow

Joe Keels is one of Nebraska's two junior college early signees and he will be counted on to make a significant push for a starting job at one of the defensive end spots starting in spring practice.

Highland (Kan.) C.C. defensive coordinator Judd Remmers has been following Nebraska football for a long time, and he believes that Keels and another current Cornhusker could form a formidable duo to rival one of the all time great pair of NU defensive ends.
