CINCINNATI - Class of 2014 athlete Lonnie Johnson holds four offers so far and could be on the verge of many more. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound product of Westside high school out of Gary (Ind.) emerged onto the scene after picking up a Bowling Green offer and now holds offers from the Falcons as well as Illinois, Nebraska and Ohio State.

Johnson has shown that he can play on either side of the ball either at wide receiver (where schools are recruiting him at) or at defensive back.

On Sunday Johnson made it to the Core 6 event in Ohio and had a chance to compete against players from several states including talented wide receiver Dominique Booth out of Indianapolis (Ind.). Johnson lined up at defensive back and challenged the four star wideout.

We caught up with Lonnie after the event to talk about how his afternoon of competition went as well as how recruiting is going to date.
