Could the Sooners Score Again at Pierce?

Last year Oklahoma's offensive tackles/tight ends coach, Bruce Kittle went to the junior college ranks, bringing in Brannon Green to provide immediate help at the position that no longer had a scholarship player on the roster. And for the 2013 class Kittle finds himself going looking the 'juco' route yet again.

Beau Sandland, a 6-foot-6 and 250-pound tight end out of Woodland Hills (Calif.) Pierce C.C. picked up an offer from the Sooners recently. The Oklahoma offer was Sandland's 13 offer to go along with LSU, Florida, Miami, California and Nebraska along with others.

Kittle stopped by Pierce C.C. a few weeks ago and got his first glimpse of Sandland and liked what he saw.

"He had come by Pierce a couple of weeks ago and it was the first time he was there. And then it became official (offer) when I talked to him a couple of days ago and he let me know over the phone," Sandland said.
