Rawlins talks WVU, another visit on tap

Monessen (Pa.) quarterback Chavas Rawlins recently trimmed his list of scholarship offers down to a final six with West Virginia among that group. And the 6-foot-4, 190-pound junior plans to be back in Morgantown in the very near future.

Rawlins final list of schools consists of West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, North Carolina, South Florida and Purdue, all but the Buckeyes have offered. However, he's planning to visit Columbus this weekend to get a look at the program.

The Mountaineers have sat high on Rawlins board after he received an offer from West Virginia while on a visit to watch spring practice March 12. In fact, Rawlins has both the Mountaineers and Buckeyes as his top two options at this point.
