Anyone have a link where the future conference alignments are actually all laid out??  The Wikipedia articles on the WCHA especially are confusing as hell.  Near as I can figure out it's gonna look like this:

HEA - BC, BU, NU, UMass, UML, Merrimack, PC, UConn, UNH, Maine, Vermont, Notre Dame

B1G - PSU, Michigan, OSU, MSU, WIsconsin, Minnesota

NCHC - CC, Denver, Miami, Minn-Duluth, Neb-Omaha, UND, SCSU, Western Mich

WCHA - Alaska-Anchorage, Bemidji St, Mich Tech, MInn St, UAH, Alaska-Fairbanks, BGSU, Ferris St, Lake Superior St, Northern Mich

Atlantic Hockey - USAFA, AIC, USMA, Bentley, Canisius, Holy Cross, Mercyhurst, Niagara, RMU, RIT, Sacred Heart

ECAC - Brown, Clarkson, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Quinnipiac, RPI, St. Lawrence, Union, Yale

Am I missing anything??

Interesting article here.

Thanks for that article, I like the idea of leveraging the power of HE for something like the B10/ACC challenge annually.  Problem with that is we're the largest league so not everyone could play.  I'm the large state schools wouldn't be thrilled to head to Lawler for a game

I still don't know why we invited ND (not in the footprint) and even worse, UConn (not the same caliber of team).

Should have been Quinnipiac.

Totally agree with that

ND makes sense--top 10 program, geographically located in Indiana but culturally an east coast school and has a large east coast fanbase.  UConn I think has potential to be a solid, mid-level HEA, UMass/Northeastern-type program but their invitation should've been conditional on putting together a few solid years in their current conference and on completing the new rink.  That said they'll always be at a disadvantage and unique in HEA in that hockey won't be even close to the #1 sport on campus....from a popularity standpoint it'll be stuck behind (in order) men's hoops, women's hoops, football, baseball, and maybe soccer.  Looking at the other HEA schools hockey is the #3 sport at UMass and ND (hoops, football), #2 sport at BC (football) and Providence (hoops), and #1 everywhere else.

I'll tell you where they're really not happy and that's in Grand Forks, UND has lost their big rival the Gophers and with it exposure in their main recruiting area, their league has fallen apart and probably worst of all their identity. The Sioux logo is gone from all official venues.
