coyle and courtnall probably should be on the quit list to some extent. and i was pretty liberal including kraus in the graduation numbers as the third string goalie

I think Steve Smolinsky should be in the graduated column...when did quit or get kicked out?

Watched Parker's presser yesterday after the UMass game, credit to the Freep for actually asking him about a "sense of entitlement amongst players" and kudos on the wording.
Parker changes his story on Myron thinking he should be getting ice time to he should be on the first line, either way it's another huge difference between the programs. Here you have players like Barry Almeida, who could be getting top 6 minutes elsewhere but accepts the checking line role and later prospers.

Parker quoted yesterday by the BU Daily Freep on the recent player defections:
"It's not like we lost somebody that we wish was still here".
How does any self respecting player actually want to play for this prick?

Indefensible. Just completely unnecessary for a coach to say something like that. Classless and unprofessional as usual.

unfathomable behavior from someone who should clearly know better but, yeah, classless sure fits

Parker is like someone with Tourette's Syndrome. He clearly can't help himself but ridiculous stuff still flies out of his mouth as if it were beyond his control.

No need to start up another thread. Seems on USCHO they're waiting to ID another defection..........Rinse. Wash. Repeat

Parker suspends Privitera for the rest of the season. Not really shocking given his previous 1-game and 2-game suspensions this year and his Hansen Brother move vs. Harvard this week to hunt down a Harvard player for the hat trick.

Could the end really be near for Parker? How much time did that '09 title buy him?

BU must be trying desperately to get rid of Parker. As with Penn State, if you give one man too much power (Parker promoted himself above the AD many years ago), bad things can happen. Then you combine power with a huge ego, and you have a semi-immoveable force.
