I tune into the NHL Network periodically to view highlights of the evening games but do so with great trepidation because it means I have to listen to Kathryn Tappen. She is nothing but a body in a tight dress and braces. Her voice is irritating. Her interview questions are pathetic and, for someone who is married to a hockey player, she appears to know little about the sport. She is the Cliche Queen.
Now where was that "Mute" button on the remote.

I take it this was your first time watching sports on TV?
I guess I have watched a little sports on TV in my lifetime. I also understand why media networks need to have token babes as hosts. Some of them, in fact, are quite good. I would not put Tappen in that category. Maybe if she just toned down that piercing voice a tad, I could forgive the fact that she is just there because she allegedly looks good.

Tappen is actually quite knowledgeable about hockey and is a very nice and genuine person. She isn't the plastic blonde like Heidi Whatney.
