Boston College football coach Frank Spaziani has named Mike Dawson special teams assistant coach, thus completing his staff.

Dawson, who has 11 years of coaching experience, has spent the past three seasons (2006-08) as linebackers coach at the University of Akron. Prior to his stint with the Zips, Dawson was an assistant at University of New Hampshire for six seasons (2000-05), spending his final two years as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
