At the beginning of the season, one probably wouldn't have expected Boston College to be sitting with just two points through three Hockey East games. Yet, looking at the way the season has unfolded so far, two points isn't the worst thing in the world. After all, Vermont and Merrimack aren't exactly slouches. Nobody in Hockey East is. Every coach in the conference will tell you that a weekend split against any team is probably a good result, all things considered. Two wins is the ultimate goal, but with the depth in the league, any points are good points.
