It was an important first step for Kevin Ball, the 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive lineman from Reston (Va.) South Lakes. Boston College assistant coach Mike Siravo stopped by Ball's school recently and watched him in weightlifting class. Ball hopes down the road an offer might come.
