The Boston College staff has put a premium importance on identifying talented local players early in their careers so that their first major offer comes from the Heights. The tactic worked well with former Milton Academy center and now BC center Dennis Clifford who was offered shortly before blowing up, and also worked well with former New Hampton Prep point guard and now BC point guard Olivier Hanlan.
