EagleAction's coaching hot board HOT BOARD was released on Sunday night. We will continue to add and subtract names from it as the coaching search rolls on and we hear more rumors.

One of the big mysteries around the coaching search is figuring out how much of a budget AD Brad Bates will have to work with. In the past, BC has been accused of not willing to spend an adequate amount of money on a coach. Those accusations were rarely found to be untrue.

Look for that to change with the coaching search this time around though. One source who holds a prominent position at BC told EA that the BC administration knows that it will have to up the ante this time around in order to bring in a good coach. The budget hasn't been raised to pay some legendary coach like Nick Saban or Bob Stoops or anyone crazy like that that. However, the budget has been raised close to 100% and will not get in the way of bringing in one of the realistic candidates on the hot board. Yes, that includes Miami's head coach Al Golden.

Speaking of Golden, he remains a legitimate candidate for the job even though publically he is saying he is just "moving forward". Word is that some prominent people at the Heights love Al Golden and he is clearly a top target.
