December 7, 2009 - Saturday's 73-46 game more or less transpired how one would expect at tilt in which the Georgetown Hoyas, ranked 14th or 16th nationally (depending on the poll), faced American University, a rebuilding Patriot League squad team with a 1-7 record; the larger more athletic Hoyas won convincingly, 73-46.
