Kreider Ready for Beanpot

Boston College freshman Chris Kreider is not your ordinary freshman entering his first Beanpot final.Forget the fact that he's a local kid who already has a relationship with the storied tournament. It's hard to find someone who not only played at Fenway Park, but also won a gold medal at the 2010 World Junior Championship. "Everything's been so surreal over the past few months," Kreider said. Eagles Dominate Yet Again

Crush and demolish and overwhelm and destroy are becoming handy words to use when describing the recent victories of the Boston College hockey team. Problem is, they may not be forceful enough. Friday night the Eagles took their game to Western Massachusetts and a close contest was expected against the fifteenth-ranked Minuteman from the University of Massachusetts. What word can we use this time to describe the 7-1 victory by BC? How about we use the word dissect, because the Eagles cut the Minutemen apart from one end to the other?[more]
